The Experts Present!

Wow! I was so impressed with my students' presentations. This was their 1st PowerPoint presentations, and they did wonderful. They had detailed accurate information with appropriate photos to match the text.  It is unbelievable how far my students have come. They really take their learning very seriously and are able to meet the goals set for them.  We all have room for growth, areas that need to be refined, but I know they will only get better. I cannot even begin to imagine all they will be able to do later in their educational careers. I am only so glad to be a part of it.

Thank you to all the parents who came in support of your child. I hope you enjoyed their presentations. They really wanted to impress you.

Zoo Time!

Today we were at the Los Angeles Zoo & Botanical Gardens. The new animal lair is unbelievable. The students really enjoyed themselves observing the animals in their "natural" habitats. It was a great learning experience for them, they were able to make many connections, and they related back to all we have been  learning. For one of my students, it was his first time ever at the zoo.:0  I am glad they all got to experience it in their own way.

I am so proud of your hard work and dedication!

As you trickled into the classroom with your completed projects, I was blown away at what you were able to accomplish. I have always known that I have the best students in the world. You proved to me once again, that you are able to accomplish whatever you set your mind to with lots of hard work and perseverance.
Remember that you will be presenting in front of your classmates and families. Those that I had scheduled for Monday, will be presenting on Thursday. Practice what you are going to say (the content) and how (expression, tone, annunciation).
I can't wait to see you be the expert presenter!
Here is a small glimpse...
