Valentine's Day

We had so much learning, eating sugar, passing out cards to our buddies, and reading lots of books. Thank you parents for all the donations. They made their day that much better. I included some pictures of our day and their favorite books of the day.

Tuvimos un día lleno de aprendizaje, comiendo azúcar, repartiendo tarjetas a nuestros amigos, y leyendo un montón de libros. Gracias a todos los padres por todas las donaciones. Hicieron el día mucho mejor. He incluido algunas fotos de nuestro día y sus libros favoritos del día.

100th Day Celebration

Welcome to 2014! I hope you all had a wonderful break. There is so much to do. I am very excited for all the learning that will occur this semester. We are soon approaching the 100th day of school. The project instructions will be going home later this week. We will be out on Monday in remembrance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Remember to continue to read daily with your child, because it does get more difficult from now on. Practice, Practice, Practice! Christmas Fun!

The holidays are here and you can feel the excitement in the air. Our Christmas-Pajama Party was so much fun! The kids got to eat up and open their presents. Our Winter Program was fabulous. The kids sang their little hearts out. I really want to thank all the families for all they do and for helping me make this time extra special for your children.

Remember to have your child do a little bit from their homework package every day. This will make it easier on them. We have lots to do when we get back.

Las vacaciones ya están aquí y se puede sentir la emoción en el aire. Nuestra fiesta de Navidad-Pijama fue muy divertida! Los niños comieron bastante pizza y abrieron sus regalos. Nuestro Programa de Invierno fue fabuloso. Los niños cantaron con todo sus pequeños corazones. Realmente quiero agradecer a todas las familias por todo lo que hacen y por ayudarme a hacer estos momentos más especial para sus hijos.

Recuerden poner a su hijos a hacer un poco de su paquete de tarea todos los días para que no se les haga pesado. Tenemos muchas cosas que hacer cuando regresemos. 

Leer! Leer! Leer!

Que tengan un descanso de invierno maravilloso con todos sus seres queridos y que sus días sean alegres y felices.

Gingerbread Fun!

We have been very busy learning many different versions of the gingerbread man. They have been writing, reading, listening, and speaking all about their learning. Ask them about their favorite version, their favorite activity, their favorite craft. You can even take them the the library to check-out their favorite version to share with you at home.

It is amazing all that they can do for this time of the year. I really want to thank you for you continuous support an cooperation in making your child's learning rigorous and fun! It has been a wonderful experience.

Hemos estado muy ocupados aprendiendo sobre muchas versiones diferentes del hombre de pan de jengibre. Ellos han estado escribiendo, leyendo, escuchando y hablando todo sobre su aprendizaje. Pregúnteles sobre su versión favorita, su actividad favorita, su arte favorito. Ustedes incluso pueden llevarlos a la biblioteca a sacar su versión favorita para compartir con ustedes en su casa.

Es increíble todo lo que ya pueden hacer por esta época del año. Realmente quiero darles las gracias por el apoyo continuo y su cooperación en hacer el aprendisaje de su hijo/a riguroso y divertido!
Ha sido una experiencia maravillosa.
